Share your feedback on equity issues with the Office of Management and Budget

Dear neighbor,
I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out today to local stakeholders like you to share an opportunity to give feedback to the federal government and so that it can more equitably serve our communities and those across the country.
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB), in partnership with the heads of agencies, has been tasked with assessing whether federal agency policies and actions equitably serve all eligible individuals and communities, particularly those that are currently and historically underserved.
OMB is seeking input, information, and recommendations from stakeholders in the public, private, advocacy, not-for-profit, and philanthropic sectors, including State, local, Tribal, and territorial areas, on available methods, approaches, and tools that could assist in this effort. OMB will use what it learns from responses to this request for information as it works to expand use of equity-assessment methods and approaches across the Federal Government, as agencies develop agency Equity Action Plans.
Please see here for more information and guidelines for how to submit comment to OMB. I appreciate your help with ensuring the federal government is providing the resources and enacting the policies necessary for us to build a more equitable country.
This feedback is due Tuesday, July 7. Issues regarding submission or questions can be sent to Amira Boland at 202-395-5222 or to equityRFI@omb.eop.gov.
As always, if you have any questions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office; information for each of my offices is below. I look forward to continuing to serve you.
Regards,
Congressman Jamaal Bowman
