Dear neighbor, 

Today marks the end of an important holiday, Shavuot. Chag Sameach to all those celebrating Shavuot– the Jewish holiday that commemorates the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai and emphasizes the importance of honoring and protecting tradition. 

 This is a special celebration within Judaism. As the Omer comes to an end and our Jewish neighbors celebrate receiving the Torah, let us be thankful for the texts and learning that has guided us thus far.
